Abstract

Introduction. The article analyzes the materials and texts of grant programs and identifies numerous terminological collocations and standard formulations that function within the institutional discourse of the European Union.
Purpose. The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the translation features of lexical units in international grant program texts, as well as to substantiate the role and significance of digitalization processes in the contemporary scientific, educational, and administrative environment, which facilitates communication between participants from different countries.
Methods. The study employs descriptive and comparative methods. Elements of contextual analysis are also used to examine the functioning of terms.
Results. It has been established that some terms lack full equivalents in the Ukrainian educational context. It has been emphasized that the most common methods of rendering non-equivalent lexis include transcoding, descriptive translation, calquing, and analogy. It has been found that anglicisms have acquired the status of normative units of the Ukrainian literary language and are actively used in contemporary usage. It has also been revealed that the project activities are inherently interdisciplinary. Particular attention has been paid to Erasmus+ projects, specifically under the KA2 action “Capacity Building in
Higher Education,” including the KA2 DEFEP project – 101083143 “Distance Education for Future: Best EU Practices in Response to the Requests of Modern Higher Education Seekers and the Labor Market”. Interdisciplinary collaboration has enabled comprehensive improvement of the distance education system in higher education institutions and enhanced professional competencies of academic and administrative staff.
Originality. Attention was paid to translation differences and difficulties. The terms and terminological collocations “stakeholder,” “deliverables,” “deadline,” “milestones,” “learning performance,” and “flexible learning pathways” have been analyzed.
Conclusion. EU programs are of significant practical importance for the economic development of our country. Prospects for further research lie in expanding the terminological apparatus of international projects, conducting an in-depth analysis of translation strategies for new terms, and examining their adaptation in the context of digitalization/
