The Editorial Board of “Linguistic Bulletin” encourages academic discussion of published materials and the making of changes that comply with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards and the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. During post-publication discussions, certain shortcomings of articles may be identified, including significant and minor errors that were not noticed during the editorial review stage. To minimize such risks, the editorial office is obliged to coordinate all changes to the manuscript text made during the editorial and publishing preparation with the author(s). For this purpose, articles prepared for print will be sent to the author(s) for final editing and approval. Technical corrections (spelling, grammatical errors) that do not affect the content of the material and can be made without additional approval are an exception.

The editorial office encourages authors and readers to engage in active scientific communication, constructive discussion of research results, determining prospects for their application, as well as expressing professional comments regarding the argumentation of the analyzed material or the scientific significance of publications.

The publication of open opinions, reviews, corrections, critical comments, and authors' responses to remarks in the collection of scientific works must not lead to a violation of the principles of scientific ethics: insults, discriminatory statements, subjective evaluative judgments regarding authors, editors, reviewers, or the activity of the edition as a whole are unacceptable.

Corrections and Amendments

The Editorial Board of "Movoznavchyi Visnyk" follows generally accepted international recommendations regarding the making of corrections to published materials.

Minor Amendments

Minor errors that do not affect the content, research results, or scientific integrity – such as technical or typographical errors, incorrect references, inaccuracies in page numbering, etc. – can be corrected through a published notice of changes. In this case, the original PDF file will be replaced with a corrected version indicating the changes made, and information about the correction will be placed in the appropriate section with a detailed description of the errors and the nature of the adjustments. The previous version of the material is archived and remains available with a note indicating the amendments.

Correction of Significant Errors

Significant errors that affect the research results, their interpretation, or scientific integrity are corrected by publishing a separate notice. Grounds for such correction may include changes in authorship, discovery of unintentional errors in research results, incorrect presentation of tables, figures, or other illustrative materials, and other errors that significantly affect the publication’s content.

The decision on corrections is made by the Editor-in-Chief after consultation with the authors and members of the editorial board.
