Abstract

Introduction. Speeches delivered by high-ranking officials are increasingly becoming the subject of linguistic research, with presidential discourse attracting particular attention. Targeting of such speeches at the addressee necessitates extensive use of forms of address. A comprehensive analysis of these forms within each speech component enables understanding of how political discourse influences public consciousness and reveals trends, peculiarities, and functions of address usage in Ukrainian presidential inaugural speeches.
