LINGUISTIC AND MENTAL STRUCTURES IN THE CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF ETHNOCONSCIOUSNESS OF UKRAINIANS

Abstract

The article explores the linguisticization of ethnoconcepts through the prism of an original mental code using conceptual analysis. The systematization and analysis of the cognitive basis of ethnoconcepts as an interpretative-generative discourse in the aspect of dialogicity is revealed, the basis of which is the semiotic mechanisms of stereotyping the ideas of the Ukrainian ethnos about the world and their determination by cultural and psychomental factors. The motivational matrix of ethnoconsciousness in the
projection onto the culture of the people and the identification of the cognitive segment are clarified, based on the connection of connotative processes with denotative ones in the structures of the collective unconscious. The purpose of the scientific research is to investigate the features of the linguistic verbalization of the ethnocultural concepts of “mother”, “ate”, “will”, “sacrifice” in the Ukrainian linguistic culture in the projection onto the semantic-cognitive and axiological nature. The study showed that the archetypal component of the ethnoconcepts of the cultural code of Ukrainians is guided by the correlation of the structure of knowledge about the signified with the original innate psychic elements, which
are a manifestation of ancestral memory, the historical past of the ethnos, their collective unconscious and ensure the integrity and unity of human perception in the conceptualization of the linguistic picture of the ethnos.
